Thank you for considering Jerry's Bears, VFW Post 1000, Baseball Team as an organization you believe will positively promote you and/or your company.

The Bears consists of fifteen to eighteen young men who are between 16 and 19 years old. This year we will play in approximately 60 baseball games which included five tournaments and the American Legion 5th District League in Missouri. To help pay for seasonal costs, we as a team, will be raising money by having fund-raisers, selling advertising spots on our Team Trailer and team yearbook and asking for sponsorships for tournaments, equipment, umpire fees and miscellaneous other expenses.

Everything listed below is tax deductable and anything sponsored $100 and up will be posted on this website.

On the left, there is a brief description of the expenses, on the right is a drop down list of items available. After making a donation, it may take up to 24 hours to show your name and or company name on the website. Only amounts of $100 or more will be displayed on the website.

T-Shirt: There are 12 spots on the back of our T-Shirt; you can purchase 1 or all 12 at $350 per spot or $1000 for 3 spots, this is a $50 discount. Our players and coaches wear the T-Shirt while traveling, at all team functions and any fundraising activities. All ad requests must be turned in by May 15, 2010.

Team Yearbook: Is designed to show case the players, these are handed out free to coaches, scouts, sponsors and players. The yearbook is a place that lets companies place ads and coupons. All ad requests must be turned in by April 24, 2010.

Uniform Expenses: We currently have three sets of uniforms that become worn during the year and end up replacing 1/3 of them, 8 complete sets, prior to the next season.

We can place your company name on a complete set of Uniforms, one jersey and 1 pair of pants for about $8000, which we will rotate throughout the season. This is the cost of the uniforms and an additional $5000 for seasonal expenses. Please call (816) 427-2417 for additional information.

Each home team pay the Umpires $200 per game for double headers and $110 per game for single games.

Tournament Umpires are paid for using the Entry Fees.

Bats & Balls: The team will use approximately 10 dozen baseballs for the season. These are priced as it would cost us, one dozen $52.95, 10 dozen $495.00.

Not all of the members of our team have their own bat and they rely on other members for theirs. Team bats can be used by everyone.
